    Chick-fil-A Spirit Night

    Chick-fil-A on woodruff road will be hosting a MHS Band spirit night on Thursday October 25th from 5pm to 8pm.  Just stop by during those times and mention that you are there to support the MHS Band.  Then, Chick-fil-A will donate a portion of what you spend to the band program.  It's a great way to support your band and get out of cooking dinner that night!!

    Region 1 Honor Band Clinic

    The Region 1 Honor Band Clinic will be held on Feb. 24th and 25th. at Furman University.  We will leave from and return to the MHS Band Room on a bus.  We will leave at 8:30 AM that Friday morning.  Students need money for lunch on both days.  We will return on a bus at 5:45 PM on Friday afternoon.  We will leave on Saturday at 8:00 AM.  Students will need to bring their performance (black and white) outfit with them on Saturday.  The concert is at 4:00 PM.  Parents are responsible for picking up the students from the concert.  

    Greenville All-County Band Clinic

    The Greenville All-County Honor Band Clinic is next week, Feb. 16-17 at Riverside High School.  On Thursday, STUDENTS WILL NEED TO EAT THEIR DINNER IMMEDIATELY AFTER SCHOOL.  There is no dinner break that evening.  The bus will pick us up around 4:15 and return around 9:00.  On Friday, students need money for lunch and dinner.  We do not have transportation Friday at 4:30.  Parents may pick up students during that time or the students can stay at the school and donate money for dinner.  Parents are responsible for picking up the students from the concert.  Students will need to bring their performance (black and white) outfit with them on Friday.  

    MHS Color Guard takes top honors at Blue Ridge

    Congratulations to the MHS Color Guards this past weekend at Blue Ridge.  The JV Guard received 5th place after having been moved to a harder level.  The Varsity Guard earned 1st place!!!  Congrats to Robin and Phillip and all the kids for a job well done.  They will be competing at TL Hanna on Feb. 18; Clover HS on March 10; Byrnes HS on March 17, and Championships at Western Carolina on March 31.
