We have calculated the expected costs involved with our trip and the marching band season for 2010. Listed below is what we anticipate the charges will be. At NO time should a student allow finances to be a deterrent from participation.
Expected Costs / Payment Schedule

a Expected Fair Share for 2010-2011 - $465.00
a Expected cost of Sugar Bowl Trip - $835.00
a Total cost of 2010-2011 Season - $1300.00
a *Payment of $130 each month from January through October

* Participating in Cheese Nachos, Greenville Drive and BiLo Event fundraisers can greatly reduce your entire band season out of pocket cash. We have had MANY band parents pay for all but their deposit just by participating in these events. They are easy, fun and only take a couple of hours to do. If we have enough participation, we may provide 2 Greenville Drive concession booths this coming year. More information to follow!

Regular fundraising will be available to offset a great deal of the overall cost. All fundraising profits will apply toward student’s account. Please do NOT let cost be a deterrent from marching and/or attending the trip. Very little comes out of pocket for those who take advantage of the opportunities that are provided.

A student may opt to just participate in marching band without going on the trip. The cost will be a total of $465.00. A deposit is still due in January of $130.00 to reserve a spot. A second payment will be due in April with the balance in August. Reminder…a band trip of this caliber will only occur once during a student’s career.

The total cost of “Fair Share” for families with multiple children in marching band is still $750. Please note that deduction in your payments.

The cost for adult chaperones is $835. Fundraising cannot legally be applied towards chaperones. Regular payments will need to be made for those who are interested.
