ALAMO BOWL ITINERARY

Tuesday, December 26
9:00 p.m.-Arrive at Mauldin High School. Set all male student luggage along the wall in Art Wing for inspection. Set all female student luggage along the wall on back side of media center for inspection.
9:30 p.m.-Be ready in the band room for rehearsal.
11:00 p.m.-Rehearsal ends. Pack up instruments and place in hallway for loading.
11:30 p.m.-Load buses.
Midnight - Leave Mauldin High School for San Antonio, TX.

ALL TIMES BELOW THIS POINT (Except Sunday) ARE CENTRAL TIME. PLEASE ADD AN HOUR TO DETERMINE THE SCHEDULE FOR EASTERN TIME.

Wednesday, December 27
7:00 a.m.-Stop at rest area for breakfast. (Meal provided)
7:45 a.m.-Load buses and continue the journey
12:00 p.m.-Stop at fast-food restaurant for lunch. (Receive $10)
1:00 p.m.- Load buses and once more continue the journey
6:00 p.m.- Arrive at the San Antonio Airport Hilton / Unload and check-in.
7:00 p.m. – Load buses and leave for Riverwalk
7:30 p.m. – Arrive at Riverwalk – Sightsee and eat dinner at restaurant of choice (Receive $10)
9:30 p.m. – Load buses for hotel
10:00 p.m.- Arrive at hotel
11:00 p.m. - CURFEW-STUDENTS MUST BE IN THEIR ROOM WITH LIGHTS OUT AND MOUTHS SHUT! GET SLEEP FOR THE SHOW!!!

Thursday, December 28
6:00 a.m.-Wake-Up Call - Eat Breakfast (meal provided)-Get ready for the show.
7:00 a.m.-Load buses for competition
7:30 a.m.-Arrive at Alamo Stadium – Unload and prepare props, etc. for warm-up
8:45 a.m.-Warm-Up
9:00 a.m.- Field Show competition – Load props and pit equipment – Sit in stands for duration of field show competitions. Instruments and uniforms stay out and on.
11:15 a.m.-Gather for parade competition
11:40 a.m. – Line-up for parade competition
11:50 a.m.-Perform in parade competition
12:00 p.m. – Load uniforms – keep instruments
12:15 p.m. – Lunch – Domino’s Pizza delivered – with water – (Meal Provided)
1:00 p.m. – Mass Band Rehearsal at Alamo Stadium – Bowl Halftime Show
4:00 p.m.- Finish rehearsal – Load instruments and buses to go back to hotel
4:45 p.m. – Arrive at hotel – Change clothes for dinner.
6:00 p.m. – Load buses for Riverwalk.
6:30 p.m. – Dinner will be at the Riverwalk in whatever restaurant groups choose. (Receive $10)
9:30 p.m. – Load buses for hotel.
10:00 p.m. – Arrive at hotel.
11:00 p.m.- CURFEW-STUDENTS MUST BE IN THEIR ROOM WITH LIGHTS OUT AND MOUTHS SHUT!

Friday, December 29
7:30 a.m. - Wake-up Call – Eat breakfast (meal provided)
8:30 a.m. – Load buses for Natural Bridge Caverns
9:30 a.m. – Arrive at Natural Bridge Caverns
10:00 a.m. – First Group begins tour
10:10 a.m. – Second Group begins tour
11:15 a.m. – Load buses for Riverwalk
12:00 p.m. – Arrive at Riverwalk – Find a restaurant to eat.
1:30 p.m. – Meet at Alamo – Go in and learn!
3:00 p.m. – Groups visit Guinness World Records Museum (app. 45 min) and Ripley’s Haunted Adventure (app. 20 minutes). Tickets are provided for both.
4:30 p.m. – Load buses to return to hotel
5:00 p.m. – Arrive at hotel, rest, shower, change.
6:30 p.m. – Load buses for Awards Dinner
7:00 p.m. – Awards Dinner and Dance at San Antonio Convention Center
9:30 p.m. – Load buses and depart for hotel
9:45 p.m. – Arrive at hotel
11:00 p.m. - CURFEW-STUDENTS MUST BE IN THEIR ROOM WITH LIGHTS OUT AND MOUTHS SHUT!

Saturday, December 30
5:00 a.m. – Wake-up Call – Eat breakfast (meal provided)
6:15 a.m. – Load buses for Alamo Dome.
6:30 a.m. – Arrive at Alamo Dome and unload instruments
7:00 a.m. – Mass Band Rehearsal
9:00 a.m. – Rehearsal complete. Load buses for Market Square.
9:30 a.m. – Arrive at Market Square Eat lunch while you are sightseeing. (Receive $10)
12:45 p.m. – Load buses for the Alamo Dome
1:30 p.m. – Arrive at Alamo Dome and unload all necessary equipment for the game.
3:30 p.m. – Alamo Bowl kick-off!
6:00 p.m. – Load equipment and buses.
6:30 p.m. – Leave for hotel
7:00 p.m. – Arrive at hotel – Walk to eat (Receive $10)
9:00 p.m. – Return to hotel – pack!!! Chaperones, check to be sure everything is packed.
11:00 p.m. – CURFEW-STUDENTS MUST BE IN THEIR ROOM WITH LIGHTS OUT AND MOUTHS SHUT!

Sunday, December 31
3:30 a.m.- Wake-up Call
4:00 a.m – Load buses and continue the journey.
4:30 p.m. – Depart for Mauldin

8:00 a.m. – Stop at rest area for breakfast. (Meal provided)
8:30 a.m. – Load buses and continue trip
12:30 p.m. - Stop at fast-food restaurant for lunch. (Receive $10)
1:30 p.m. – Load buses and continue the journey
6:00 p.m. - Stop at fast-food restaurant for dinner. (Receive $10)
7:00 p.m.- Load buses and pursue the last leg.
11:30 p.m. – Arrive home to celebrate the new year.
